Global IB Mentors

IB Courses

The world's leading pre-university programme designed for global citizens.

Why Choose the IB Diploma?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) is widely recognized as the gold standard in pre-university education. No other curriculum better equips pupils for university education and the working world. IB students develop transferable skills like analytical analysis, international mindedness, and resilience.

From the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to the Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP), we offer comprehensive support across the entire continuum. Our students are considered some of the top performers, gaining acceptance into the world's most prestigious colleges in the US, UK, Germany, and beyond.

Making the Right Choice

Choosing what courses to take is a critical task. The IBDP requires students to choose six courses from the subject groups. Knowing which course choices will aid students in achieving their career aspirations is crucial.

Students can choose their courses with the aid of our counsellors. We are aware of the criteria universities use to evaluate applicants and help define the ideal combination of Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) courses depending on the student's country of residence.

Tip: Always confirm the specific universities' entrance standards before finalizing your subject combination.

Evaluation & The Core

Assessment: IB evaluation is objective and rigorous. Most assessments start with written exams graded by external professional examiners. Nearly 9,000 examiners worldwide ensure student work is evaluated fairly.

The DP Core: Apart from the 6 subjects, the curriculum includes three core components:

  • TOK (Theory of Knowledge): Reflecting on the nature of knowledge.
  • EE (Extended Essay): An independent 4,000-word research paper.
  • CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service): Activities fostering personal growth.

Evidence of Success

Research indicates that IB students have an international perspective and are creative, critical thinkers. MYP students significantly outperform pupils from non-IB institutions in subject areas.

In comparison to their peers, students in DP courses showed better levels of global mindedness. Employers are increasingly seeking employees who are flexible and adaptable—qualities that all IB students possess.
